3.97 - 4.14 here in western mass. Im not going to spend more Im filling up 2 times a month and if I run out I wont go anywhere. So far 1 tank every 2 weeks has been fine. plus my 10 month old car only has 7500 miles which only about 1000 in 3-4 months. also did away with oil use wood and some pellets. At this rate maybe it would be worth 50,000 or so to go solar

HAH, we spend over $700.00 a month for my dad to commute an HOUR ..ONLY AN HOUR to Toronto everyday. We drive to the station in the next town (if we had a station in ours, which we were supposed to have, he would bike there), then he spends 30 minutes on the VIA train.
We're moving to our farm, and he's renting an appartment, it costs a bit more than his travel costs did, but it's worth every penny for him to be a 3 minute subway train ride from downtown Toronto.
OKAY, So I posted already but gas has been all over the place, and it's easily all over the place even town to town in Ontario. Someone in Toronto is paying well over $1.30L for gas, but here in Bowmanville we paid $1.20L like last week. Sadly, we can't just go every 2 weeks and fill up right now, we're moving an hour or so east and since the property is vacant we have to make weekly trips there to make sure it's not been taken over by kids or squatters. We're spending like $60.00 every two or three days on gas, $60.00 isn't too much, but it's just enough to make you want to throw in the towel... but we just can't! somethings are more important than the cost of gas these days.
