Let's compare gas prices

$3.80's Fort Wayne, IN. Isn't it crazy how the gas prices vary from station to station? I've seen it vary 10-20 cents in stations less than 10 miles of each other.

BTW, tonight I heard on SRN news that the average price of gas is expected to "only" be in the $3.80's over Memorial Day instead of the $4.00's they expected. Maybe it's starting to make a difference that everyone is cutting down on their gas usage!

$3.67 in Mcgregor Mn. When you think that a little over a year ago the price being in the mid $2 sounded horrendous, now it would be a sale.

Jumped 14 cents over night here:mad: that was on wenesday-3.79 up to 3.94. Yesterday went in to town and its 4.14! We'll be staying home more! More time for chickies and gardening!

I was listening to the Today show or something like it and we still only pay half of what they pay overseas. I have a cousin that lives in Germany and he pays close to $10.00 a gallon. But also too they do alot of walking and bike riding which I can see us doing a lot of in the future. Matter of fact we are going to look for bikes for the whole family.

I totally agree. Like I'm going to carry my 4 year old 25 miles to work (and back!) every day. And walk to the grocery store five miles away and lug back 75 pounds of groceries on my back. (I can't do bikes because of my knees)

If the grocery store was just down the street and I worked a few blocks away, I'd walk everywhere, too! Geeze. I live two miles from the nearest GAS station.

It hurts to go to the gas station...

regular gas $4.09

diesel $4.59

I drive my kids to and from school and go to the grocery store, we don't do any extra running anymore. Used to be you could hop in the car and just go for a drive, now you have to plan ahead to allow for the extra in fuel. When it costs $125.00 to fill the tank!

P.S that was yesterday, probably went up today!

I forgot to mention, my son bought this golf cart for $200 at the co-op where he works. Just needed new tires and brake pads which he and my husband fixed themselves. Works like a pro.

It's $3.79 here in Texas-that is Gulf Coast part. Not sure what the price of diesel is yet as we don't buy diesel. Got a golf cart here that runs on batteries uhmm 6 of em, but just to run around town, sure saves on gas. Lots of folks here have golf carts. I live in a very small rural town, so it's sensible to have a golf cart or better yet, a bike!
