My neighbor is just obnoxious! First off let me say, he owns the property next to us, has no house yet..has owned the property for 12 years. So He, his wife and 2 daughters (which are sweeties by the way) have 2 German Shepards that they keep in a fenced portion in the back of the lot. They do come every day to feed and water them. So where is my problem with him? It all started the first day we moved in...we came straight from settlement to our new home 3 years ago. We pull up and get out. My dad and hubby got n the truck and headed up to my inlaws to pick up the new carpet. My mom and I just sat our of the front porch looking at my new yard! Well here comes "The Hillbilly" He pulls up and marches over to us and says " I don't mean to come off as an a** hole, but I want to let you know that we take pride in caring for our lawn and would appreciate it if you stay off of it. Have a nice day"

What?? are you serious?? So we wrote him off as a jerk and went on. So we get our fencing up and I start giving my kids pony rides out front on our horses. Here comes The Hillbilly..this time he says "Hi Rebecca. my daughters love your horses and I wanted to see if it would be ok if they had a ride on them?"

Ok so I say yes only because it isn't their fault their dad is an idiot. After that we didn't talk much..well because he doesn't LIVE THERE. About 1 1/2 years ago, my hubby was carrying about 150#s of feed on his shoulder back to the barn. He undid the chain on the gate, went through, then layed the chain over just long enough to go set the feed down. Well he forgot about the gate and on his way back, went through the fence instead. Sooo, we get a call at 8:30 from our other NICE neighbor saying our horses were grazing in their back yard. We ran over and got them and apologized. They said "oh it's fine".
Well I should have known better, 2 days later there is a message on my machine saying "Rebecca, I need to speak with you as soon as possible" Of Course it was The Hillbilly. So he comes marching over here when he gets here. He then proceeded to ask me why I was riding my horses on his property when I have my own. Then he said that my dog was pooping on his yard and my goose! So I told himt hat the horses got out on accident, no one was riding on his stinkin' property. I asked him where he saw dog poop..he showed me and it was on MY YARD! Then I told him that I could lock up my goose if it was that big of a problem but as for the 64 Canada geese on his yard, he would have to take that up with them! So then his whole tone changed and everything was ok...to him. He said " man I was thinking ..If this b*tch is riding on my property, I am calling the spca" He said this about 6 times! I was so mad..I told him to get off my property and he did.
So last summer, something happened to his volley ball net and he came over AGAIN and asked if my kids broke it!!! MY KIDS KNOW THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED on The Hillbillys yard.

This man is crazy, a few weeks ago he came over and stood at my fence while I was giving my daughter her riding lesson. He calls my daughter Mac which drives me CRAZY! Her name is Mackenzie. So he said.."Wow Mac, you are doing great!" Then he started asking me where I got such a nice horse and how did I learn how to teach riding...

And the saga goes on...I swear there is something wrong with him!!

Some city folk moved in next door. Since they moved in a few years ago we have had robberies, and mailboxes smashed....they even have destroyed their own mailbox! It is the teenage boys living there.

Just a few weeks ago someone followed the one boy home after he saw him smash in his mailbox.

The mom is clueless and doesn't think anything is wrong with them.

Last summer they (the boys) were dealing drugs in their driveway. the traffic of kids was incredible!

This spring when our road got chorided, I was passed by one of the boys. Speed has always been a factor, along with peelouts.

The following day the mom tried and I swerved and wouldn't let her pass. She totally stopped in the road and had the stupidiest look on her face. I went 10 mph the rest of the way home.

The boys don't slow down when we are riding horses either.

We have stopped and talked to them and they don't care. They belong in the city!
