Let's have a "crazy" neighbor contest!!

The people that lived at the end of our road (they have to drive by our property to get to the main road) when we purchased this place were 'crazy as bed-bugs'! Every yr. she purchased pure breed dogs, that she let roam and every yr..these dogs would get killed on the road.. Next month she had another dog..

The man that lives there now, has been married four times. According to him: he meets new women online, when his marriage is not going well, has affair, divorces old wife and marries the new--just to find out his new wife is running around with someone else--just like she did with him, before his divorce and he is CLUELESS as to why his marriages don't work!!!!! It drives my dh crazy to listen to his sad 'woe is me' stories...

He (neighbor) called the police on us for stealing his dog, which was our dog he stole from us, we showed all the paperwork (akc) and receipt from when I bought the dog and he(police) told him there was no theft. He vandalized our property, uprooted and broke a bunch of flowers, bushes and plants. He would walk around on MY property when dh was at work, pruning MY trees. Threw broken bottles around my kids swingset. Called humane society, saying we had a dog fighting ring, yeah, with beagles. Called CPS on us (they off the record told us it was him after we showed them our police reports for everything else). He got a protection order against dh after HE(neighbor) threatened to harm my children, and they gave him the order because he "is afraid of dh" because of his military background. DH never he said anything to him. We live on a lake and have only 10 feet on the water, he would throw corn on my dock so the ducks would camp there, and made our dock unusable. I got a protection order for myself and the kids, they wouldn't give one to dh because he "wasn't afraid", I thought they were Protection from HARRASSMENT. The police arrested him, they were in our house while the neighbor was walking around our house shining a flashlight in our windows. He threatened to burn down the guy's house (next to him). He put kerosene in dh's gas tank while we were on vacation. He pushed the top off a covered well on our property, where the kids play. He threatened to shoot my other dog. He sent us a bill($900) for "pet sitting" for the time he had our stolen dog. He would cuss at dh when he was outside so I couldn't let the kids out, they were afraid of him. For 3 years he TORTURED us. After he got evicted he would fill our mailbox with snow, it was a mile from our house. He came to "visit" a different neighbor on the street and on his way down tried to run my 7 yr old son over who got off the bus with his 10 yr old brother. Dh picks them up and was a couple minutes late and the bus already left so she didn't see it. My son got in the car and said he tried to run me over. Dh went to yell at him and he tried stabbing dh with a pen, so dh blocked it and punched him 3 times, and no my children didn't see it. So now my DH has to go to court and because he didn't take the deal they offered they are now charging him with felony assault. And just so you know, during this whole thing, my neighbor barely even got a slap on the wrist, even for trying to run my son over. He's done so much more than I could type. Poor dh, he has been so good

What kills me more is we fed him holiday meals for 2 years cuz he lived alone

All my neighbors are my DW's relatives...
So I have to plead the 5th ammendment on this contest.

Krista that is awful!!! I hope and pray for justice for your family, and that the truth about this completely mentally ill person is plainly obvious to the courts and the law!

OK after reading all these horror stories of neighbors (I can top most but I'm going for, rediculously silly instead, not enough energy right now to recall the horror, I'm too content)

So anyway we live in fruit tree country and our neighbor has a cherry orchard. So the guy who lives across the road from him had the "Log cabin" spread going on, paved drive every thing trimmed up tight, lawn like a golf course, cut the lawn every week same time (?) He would call the neighbor with the orchard and ask him to mow his orchard the same time he cut his own lawn? I guess the scull and cross bones signs for the pesticides along the road in the orchard didn't bother him as much as the "unkept grass"

People are quite entertaining with (lots&lots) of distance

(Krista Good Luck, I understand the horror but wait till you have a state police swat team on your place after a crazy mental(probebly meth addict) shoots a shot gun at your SO while he's on a tractor while his wife watches and says nothing and your local officials are too lazy to prosicute because the guy faked being mental cost the county 70Gs , skipped bail drove down south to locate his just as crazy wife, broke into the bussness her apt was over went to prison down south and once released returned here (even with a restraining order) and eventually he died (thank whomever) so next thing we know we have his crazy son showing up looking for his dead dads car that the crazy wife took off with, Man now I'm not so content(heck yeas I am he Died!)

Wisconsin, I have to agree. She has my vote and my sympathy.I can share some good tactics anytime though. I have resorted to guerilla warfare after the death of my old Aussie, and if he keeps on, I will seriously have to give thought to the Roundup ice cube assault.
