Let's have a gosling hatchalong!

Any thoughts on why hes so rough and how i teach him to be more careful? How do parents teach their goslings? Dog, horse and cat methods dont seem to fit and none of my goslings in previous years ever did this. Likes to snuggle under my neck/wing and makes the little snuggling noises while torturing my neck. On my arms he does it more like he's trying to pull grass._ Definitely more than the curious gosling nibble.
Actually maybe since he can't see he doesn't know what he's chewing on.

this is april and mayvis. mayvis is now 7 days old!!! and i didnt think she would make it. april is getting close to two months old. they grow like weeds! oh and their mum is now wanting to set eggs.... where was she two months ago lol. only sad thing is she is now trying to sit on infertile chicken eggs. i took them away i hope that snaps her out of it.

I found my blind girl to sometimes bite a little harder than other goslings. I would take handful of grain or piece of watermelon or fresh corn and offer it when hanging out and she got to nibbling. That seemed to help.

Today i have 11 gosilings. The last egg is still rocking. It looked like it was behind a day or so when i last candled so im still hoping ill get 12. Color count is 5 brown and 6 white. All are very healthy looking except for the one white one that hatched last not everything has went inside him yet, i didnt help any of them out so i dont know why this happened. all the rest are bouncing balls of fluff in their brooders. This is my largest hatch so far. Too bad the bator started out with 24 eggs im thankful for what i got now though. This puts me up to 24 geese and goslings plus 11 ducklings and the 16 chickens im turning into the bird lady lol instead of the cat lady.

My silkie hens hatched out 2 baby geese so far still two eggs left one was internally pipped last i looked. Other has a week before.

Here are my Embdens (and my gray halfrican embden) that were hatched on March 27. Hard to believe they are already nearly 2 months old!

Here they are with their flock of khakis (roughly the same age) and my four feed store hatchery cayugas.

The gray girl is definitely the flock boss!
