You are in good company. There's quite a few of us weirdos that value our geese as loved pets.

I get strange looks when i talk about mine like they are people, especailly when i use their names. My brown chinese are "Bill and Mildred" named after my grandparents and my two production toulouse are "Tucker and Tori" i get the "why didnt you give them pet type names?" i think their names fit their personalities...

Hi everyone,
Thought I'd join back in, I set 22 Pilgrim eggs on Saturday. I am in the stage of just turning 3x a day, I will begin the misting and cooling on Friday. Good to see everyone having great hatches!!!

I am the same way! I named my original Pomeranian pair after my parents, John and Jean. When we were bringing them home, the female kept giving me the stink eye with those blue eyes of hers and the glare reminded me of the very one my mother was famous for...same eye color and everything! The male just hissed and shook his head at me, but when I reached in to pick him up, he didn't do anything, which reminded me of my dad: He made a lot of noise, but rarely did anything about it!
