Let's have a gosling hatchalong!

Hi everyone,
Thought I'd join back in, I set 22 Pilgrim eggs on Saturday. I am in the stage of just turning 3x a day, I will begin the misting and cooling on Friday. Good to see everyone having great hatches!!!

Robin

Welcome to the thread! Congrats on setting so many eggs at once! Are you ready for so many babies if you have a great hatch?

Now i have 6 eggs in the 'bator. Couldnt help myself, mildred laid another egg. It will just be a day behind.
My cousin is getting a dozen eggs from his neighbor for me. Not sure what breeds they have. I love a surprises, hoping for some splashes. Mixed or not i love all goslings.

This afternoon my goose has gone in to lay on her eggs, so far since last day of Jan she has laid 25 eggs, we have eaten some and she has 4-5 in her nest, don't know if she is playing house or serious, I guess we'll know soon. This is Toulouse/Embden cross.. All the best on your hatches... what do you plan to do with all your goslings?

My mildred has given me 6 eggs so far since i bought her and her mate. She is wanting to be momma bad. I may let her try soon. My toulouse pair havent started laying yet. They are 9 months old though. I will be keeping all my goslings. My goal is a flock of 15 to 20. I would have 8 grown geese now like my name says but, the guy i was buying 4 from stood me up twice on 2 more brown chinese and a pair of tufted romans.
