I wouldn't collect any more of her eggs so she can get a large enough clutch to want to sit.

I won't J, she never come back out the whole afternoon, I believe there is 5 eggs in there. Not sure if any are going to do anything though, since the cold has got to them.

Aww I love those pics, thanks for sharing..

I've got duck eggs developing, but the sebbie eggs don't look as fertile. I have around 20 to set. I have been trying to clean the "new used" incubator but keep getting interrupted.

Must get done today!!!!

8geese, cute pics.... I especially like the last one.

Pips, good luck with your sebbie eggs! How many does your bator hold? The styro bator fits 24 goose eggs (if really crammed in). At the moment, I only have room for another 5-6 eggs, but I have gathered 13 since yesterday.

I don't know how many I will get in the new one. It is a cabinet with the bigger egg holding racks. I have around 20 or so in the other one in the bottom hatching tray along with 11-12 duck eggs. We are getting pretty full here.

I do have a table top incubator that I can pull out also.

Congrats on everyone's babies. This is so exciting to see all of the cute pics.

Lockdown is Monday. I hope the 4 fertile eggs hatch. I'm not sure about 1 of them because it is small. :/

In addition to the eggs in the incubator, I have 2 girls setting on eggs. I girl is on 6 eggs and another girl is on 3 eggs but I will slip some more eggs under her. I have 3 ducks, 2 turkeys and a chicken that are all sitting on a total of 12 goose eggs combined. They should be able to hatch a few (I hope). :fl

I promised myself I would only buy another bator with money made from egg/baby sales. I've only made $23 so far, but I may be able to sell some eggs this weekend to make enough for another cheapo bator. In the meantime, I'll be tossing the duck eggs and anything that is not showing veining after 5 days this weekend to set eggs from my super prized pair of grey fatties mated to my buff boy. Both are laying strong now.
