Is this thread to remain in the Hatch Along Section? Think it was much better when in the appropriate Goose Section - maybe we should start up another thread back there and call it something else????
We made a hatchalong section for ....Hatchalongs. Even if it is called something else to hide it, it will still be moved to the appropriate Hatchalong forum.

No unfortunately not all breeds are like that. With those you either have to vent sex or do like i do grow them out and see who lays an egg or who doesnt.

8geeseAlaying well just my luck...lol anyway doesnt really matter to me im just excited i have 2 geese hatching in the incubator bc I LOVE my GEESE!
Is it really true it takes a goosling 48 hrs. To completely hatch?seems like an awlful long time....cant wait to get home, hopefully tomorrow I will see the end of the hatching...

Yes it takes up to 48hrs for them to hatch. So try not to get anxious and break them out early, a lot of first timers (including myself) make that mistake. Make sure the humidity is up in the hatcher and sit back and wait. Most of the time they will pop out on their own without any problems. Rarely should any have to be assisted out.
