Oh Bill! I am so glad to see your happy, kind, giving face!!! Man you are my buddy, my heart. Now I will save it and show hubby our buddy. He has grown quite fond of the gang...He has his own in his gun forum and has come to like the Quail forum through me. Some of us have a gun machining /reloading room right next to the incubator Quail headquarters. Where the husband and wife can co recreate and keep independant interests. It is a good thing here. A good group. Thanks for the pic Bill. I will post mine when I can get it loaded here in minute..

I'm Cari. I grew up in the deserts of California and always had lots of random animals around, never livestock though. I consider myself a country girl but didn't really grow up "in the country" or on a farm so to speak. A few years ago we moved to a rental with lots of land and decided I wanted a few chickens. Got some and I became obsessed, got an incubator and became a hatchaholic, now I have close to 100 chickens, rabbits, quail, guinea, turkeys, and who knows where or when or if I will ever stop!!! Muaahhhhhaaahhhaaaa!!!

No really... I think my "stop" button is broken... I have full pens, full brooders, AND another 60 random eggs in the 'bators as we speak....

Bill

How did I miss this thread until now??!!!! You two are a baaaaaaaad influence! Or good...depending on how ya look at it!

I want to play!

I have my first chicken eggs hatching as we speak. Once that is done, my incubator will be broken in for the quail. Actually, I could incubate another round of the chickens before the quail.... hmm..

List of things I will need:

Quail Eggs: I'll be getting jumbo white from somewhere.....
Quail Egg Turner? I've been searching locally for the quail egg turner to go into my incubator, but can't find it. I'll have to find it online.
Quail House: Will be built while eggs are incubating. EEK!

Glad to be shaing my first time quail hatch with you all!!!

Ah, here is me
