I like that so many of you have older horses!

My two mares

Brandie my anglo arab is the chestnut on the left (grandsire Akhu - a very influential stallion and highly decorated under saddle and in halter. He was an Australian Champion side saddle 1982 & 83 and Reserve Aust. Champ S/Saddle 1982. Supreme Champion Roll of Merit).

Brandie turned 20 this year. She was my first ever horse back when I was a little girl. She will be with me for ever now. This is a link to our story

Carrie (Fancy Free) is the bay. She is a warmblood X TB and she turned 23 this year. She isn't really my horse. Just living out her days with me as a paddock mate for Brandie.

I need to get a picture of Bugsy without her winter coat. She has the prettiest coat.

Its me again.

Finally got a picture of my young gelding, 6 yo Northharrier Kirch. His mam was my favourite mare in my friend Penny's stud. After sitting speaking with Kirsch for ages I went to visit Penny who told me that she couldn't get near him and that we must have a great bond before he came to me. I bought him when he was 5 months old. The first time he had a halter on was when I walked him to my croft and he walked perfectly for the whole mile and I've never had a problem with him. At 3 yo I started training him for my young cousins to ride. I got him used to me setting my leg over him in no time at all then started setting my Collie on his back. The most objection he gave was ears back and stamped his foot once or twice that first day. Apart from going into deeper water I can get this little chap to do anything.

Thought I would put a picture of Toffee's red side on here too.

This is Roxi's other side. Nice and evenly marked, what most breeders look for in new stock.

I found this photo of Illona and her previous owner at a show. She was 2nd place 1 yo Filly. I can't wait until she's in her summer coat to see what she's like then.
