Let's share our chicken decor!

Pics
@sunflour , you really should sell your work! I can't imagine how long it must have taken to make just one though. I love the buckets and the bag is amazing! Please share how you did the bag.

Nice job, I like the print on the bag and it's a nice size too. You are a talented gal!

I love this thread it appears to me though that the same math principals used in *Chicken math* could also be applied to *Chicken Decor math*. If said clutter is used on a wall it is art and there fore can not be considered clutter.

I will take some pics to share some of my items later, But for now these are my *future guys* My mom used to own a collectables store and sold Quarry Critters. They are stone statues and I love them However these are the ones that will come in the mail when DH turns his head for a sec.

I also found measuring spoons and cups on Amazon with a pretty cute pair of earrings. DH must turn head soon!
I absolutely want to be part of the Red Chicken boot club! Only I would have to have red for public and yellow for coop as my little banny roo. has issues with the color red

Oh here is one that is on my comp already. My DD decided one day to start painting so I gave her a set of oil paints I had and AVE WALLAH!

My very own Silkie painting for my nook!

Ok so along with the CNestwood art I happened to notice the White Faced Black Spanish on the home page bears a uncanny likeness to Antonio Banderas. Anyone else think so?
Maybe you should have us distract him so you can get your orders placed...we do love to help each other out with the chicken addiction you know!

Too funny about the WFBS and Antonio B. You're right (and what a handsome bird/guy too)!

@tjo804 & @lovemy6hens . There are a number of on line tutorials that demonstrate making the feed bag tote. There is also at least one showing how to sew a garden apron from one sack.

This is the main one I followed, except I did regular mitered corners instead of cutting those squares out. And I sewed the handles upside down to the top and turned it all under to make a sturdier top edge with handles tucked inside the tip seam. I spent more time exploring photos and in deciding where to cut the bag..It sews up really fast. But don't expect neat stitches on plastic, use some scraps to decide on needle and stitch length.

Wow, great stuff there. Your DD has talent, love the painting. I can't see a signature, if she didn't sign, you should ask her to add one :)
Never heard of the Quarry Critters - I especially like the one on the egg.

I was somewhat afraid my red shoes would get too much attention in the coop, but the hens didn't even react..They are quite comfortable in the yard and coop, but would not want to go on a shopping trip in those babies.

I agree, that's Antonio:)

Measuring spoons, measuring cups and Earrings….Oh My!

Finally took some pics of my *stuff*

Tooth brush holder and soap dispenser

soap dish given to me by DD think I want to paint and dremel the back to make a wall hanging.

Kitchen utensils and hot plate with spoon rest (walmart find)

Suet holder only with bird flu I am not inviting wild visitors this year so I just hung it in the breakfast nook

Kitchen night light. I use a red bulb it makes me feel *Broodie*

These are my first eggs, they have been in the sire basket on top of my hutch for 5 years now.

Tortilla warmer for breakfast tacos

fresh egg basket I keep the toys on top so DGD doesn't play with the eggs while we cook.

cup from my Aunt for a special Christian weekend we shared.

My Dads "cock ding dong" his name not mine
hu.gif
I honor it since he is gone. Narley sense of humor on my Dad I miss him but giggle when I look at his ding dong.

And the mirror stickers I put on my desk drawer.

Wow that kinda felt like spam! stuff just popped up as I looked.

@tjo804 , cool stuff! How nice you have that bell from your Dad. With the suet cake holder, we use one in the run for things like greens and apple chunks...the girls have fun pecking at the food and it doesn't get dirty.

Thanks for sharing your chicken décor. (And if you're anything like most of us, you'll find more pieces that you forgot you even had!)

I have some of the green ones out in the run I even put them in the growup pens for the little chicks I hadnt thought about putting it out there but I think I will do that tomorrow.
Yea Dad had a knack for finding things to make someone blush or just belly laugh. He was quite the character.
