Let's share our chicken decor!

Pics
Not exactly decor, but decoupaged feed bags to cover up the print on 5 gal buckets. I have done a lot of decoupage in the past, but this was almost impossible. They are are not gorgeous, but don't think my hens will care if something tasty is planted for them :)

What an awesome idea! You have pretty feed bags, mine are just green and white. :( Very creative! :thumbsup

Thanks. Green and white would look good on white buckets which are easy to locate.

Those are so cool ,my feed bags are brown paper But Yours are really cool looking
Paper would be so much easier to work with. These are plastic, and getting them to stay on and not pull off was a nightmare. Wish I had roughened up the buckets with some sandpaper first.
Had to keep re-glueing until most edges were close enough. After several heavy coats of decoupage, added several layers of outdoor sealer, I hope they will be outdoor functional.

If you have plastic type bags, it is a lot easier just to sew those into carry bags

I'd have to paint a pic on my brown paper bags and I really don't think the flock would appreciate my art work.

Sounds like yours was alot of work but they sure look nice.

That was a really clever idea @sunflour ...don't think I've ever seen that done before. I've seen where they take the plastic feed bags and turn them into shopping bags, they're kind of nice.
