does anyone have any expierience with hay nets and goats? i want to save some money and those are the cheapest feeders i can find. thx

Too cut for WORDSWell kidding season has started at my house. Two sets of twins and a handful of singles. I've been worried about first freshness as they were all bottle babies and are a bit undersized but they have been doing well so far and only have two left to go.![]()

Yes, ditto that! Hay nets and goats do not get along. A similar option though is a hay bag. The ones that are all canvas with a hole cut out. I've used those successfully. They don't seem to get tangled in them like the nets. That's just my experience though, YMMVYes! Don't use them unless you want to risk a dead goat. They can easily get their head tangled inside and get hung.
