Lets talk about goats!

I think you could make it work... make sure all the holes are sealed up so they can't stick a hoof through or hang a leg as they jump off it. Something els to consider is making sure the floor and at least 3 sides are sealed up good. When it gets cold and windy, that wind will go right through the cracks and make your goats cold. And, consider the tree it is around.. they will rub/scrape/and eat the bark off that tree anywhere they can reach. At any rate, I think they would have fun with it!

My new male got him as a bday gift been wanting one this color for years

Awwwwww! Cute!!

No, but I have done saanen and boer. They make nice market crosses that sell well here. The dairy gives a little more size on the frame, and the boer adds more meat/muscle. I would do dairy buck on boer does though if you plan to keep any does back to milk. If you are wanting to go the other way, make doubly sure you know if that boer buck throws big headed kids. That could cause a problem.

That's what I was worried about but I'm having problems convincing my husband that a boer buck might make too big a baby for my alpine girl. Guess I need to show him alllll the literature on it. I don't want to risk losing my girl.

Re. Goats hating the water i had 4 of my goats get out on me and they all ran to my front yard so i decided to turn on the garden house to herd them back to there pen and it worked for three of them any way the forth cheese just stood there looking at me so i got him wet and he just stood there enjoying the shower i had to drag him back to the pen so correction.
