They are comic relief as well
At my daughters check up this past week, they asked "how much TV does she watch? How often is she getting outside?"
My response, we don't have cable, satellite, or even the box to watch public tv. We watch educational videos on farming, milking, and the like and we watch goats playing, birthing, and we do chores as a family when we are not in our family classroom (homeschool). The doctor didnt really know how to respond other then "oh, ok"

GAM is hooked. She's giggling like a fool while she's playing the game. Not sure why it's rated M for mature though.... LOL!

Had 2 babies born a few days ago. BOTH GIRLS! The momma, Cream, has given us doe twins for 2 years now.

Such a good girl. Now I'm waiting on my 2 other does to kid. Thought it would for sure be the day before yesterday. Then I just KNEW it was going to yesterday. Girls, c'mon!

But I guess they're worth the wait.

I had one that I was so sure was going to kid last night ... I even got out of bed and went to the farm to check on her. Rascally thing .. I can feel the slightest trace of ligaments again. Argh! She's our last to kid and I have missed all of the others. Starting to consider sleeping in the barn with this one. LOL
