Some are bigger and some are about the same size, Females 150-175 some 200, Mal male 200-300.

-Alpine goat-(Larger breed)-
Weight/height

• Male:no less than 77kg (170lbs)
• Female:no less than 61kg (135lbs)

• Male:no less than 81cm (32in)
• Female:no less than 76cm (30in)

-Nubian goat-(Larger breed)-
Weight/Height

• Male:175 pounds (79 kg)
• Female:135 pounds (61 kg)

• Male:89 centimetres (35 in)
• Female:76 centimetres (30 in)

-Nigerian Dwarf-(Smaller breed)-
Height

• Male:19–23.5 inches (48–60 cm)
• Female:17–22.5 inches (43–57 cm)

-Pygmy-(Smaller breed)-
Does weigh 24 to 34 kg (53 to 75 lb) and bucks, weigh 27 to 39 kg (60 to 86 lb). Wether height ranges from 41 to 58 cm (16 to 23 in).

-Tenesse Fainting goat-(Smaller breed)-
Fainting goats are generally 43 to 64 cm (17 to 25 in) tall and can weigh anywhere from 27 to 79 kg (60 to 174 lb). Bucks can be as heavy as 90 kilograms (200 lb).

Yes! I believe it to be less stressful on the animal if all things go well and is more economical for the owner.
