Lets talk about goats!

This is him the first few days we had him- I don't think he's gained anything and it's been almost three weeks. I would guess him to be 14-15 lbs, much lighter than my 20lb human child. His bday is supposedly march 27. My nigi girls born march 28 are at LEAST 20 lbs.

Any idea what his weight is? If you have any goat drench start with that. Red cell, for horses, depending on how small he is, if he's a tiny guy is do 1/2cc by mouth 2x a day for 3days.
If you can post a pic of him that would to reference size.
This is what our vet used. We use it religiously now

It is an oral drench and easy to administer. Also gave us Nutri-drench and Lots of electrolytes!
Start treatment NOW.

Anemia is caused by the red blood cells being eating alive by the parasites. Time is of the essence. After the CYDECTIN drench, keep him hydrated. Take some of his poo and search it for evidence of the type of parasites.
CYDECTIN is kind of expensive but of you have a flock like the size of ours, it is worth the expense.
Season changes and nasty rainy weather will warrant the use of a wormmer.
Got to get him eating! Good luck! I am here if you need me...

Just be careful with the cydectin. If you've recently dewormed with something else it can cause all internal parasites to die and let go all at once and can cause massive internal bleeding and that can't be fixed. If you have a vet, check with them first.
Our vet personally administered it the first time to our little P.J.. We tried to use SAFE GAURD a week prior and it was ineffective. She was made aware of the resent attempt with another product. I AGREE WITH CONSULTING A VET THOUGH. IF ANOTHER TREATMENT WAS USED.:thumbsup

TEXT OUR VET. SHE WILL RESPOND FAST FOR THIS TYPE OF EMERGENCY.
I WOULD NOT TELL HER YOUR OUT OF STATE LOCATION. SHE IS MARVELOUS!
000-000-0000
Text her about the white eye lid and about CYDECTIN use for your goat.
IF YOU CALL SHE MIGHT NOT RESPOND UNTIL THE NEXT DAY. SHE USUALLY TEXTS BACK pretty QUICK.
