Here is my main Silver/Blue Cucu "Paulie". I just love him. He is the most polite rooster I have ever seen with his ladies.

Here is my Fugate hen I thought she looked cute napping on the front of the coop. I need to get her with her roo but he had a torn comb so I have him in the barn until it heals more.

Here is one of my whites you can't see her leg feathers, she has them but just barely. She is real nervous so I won't take her out of the pen. She didn't lay for a week when I put her in it. I think it is becasue I didn't handle her as much as I do most of them. I think she is on the small side but she is only 10 months old.

Alright guys, I posted this on the breeds, genetics and showing page and they directed me here. I have a flock of cuckoo marans that are clean legged. I would like to replace that flock with some feather shanked cuckoos soon. If any of you have feather shanked cuckoo marans from good lines, i would like to hear more about them and egg prices and availability. Until then, i am having trouble telling the difference between my barred rocks and cuckoo marans, at hatch. I cannot seperate right now during hatching or I would already be doing that. Are there any noticable differences in say, leg color, down color or pattern at hatch that I can be watching for? Thanks in advance.

Your cuckoos will have white legs and the barred rocks will have yellow legs.
