Obtaining the white skinned French standard would be a bit difficult. The American GCM has yet to be recognized. Can you understand why? It has issues yet to be perfected.

here my first pure Golden cuckoo marans 10 weeks old 2 pullets and one cockerel. the golden huckle just start showing up.

Mine did the same thing. I think the ER based birds do this.

A HUGE thanks to morbius18 for the males he gave me today! Totally worth the drive! Plus, now I can say I've been to Tennessee...

So, according to the chicken calculator, if I cross his F1 males with my GCM girls, I'll get 25% non-barred pullets, 25% GCM pullets, 25% single barred males and 25% GCM males. Does that sound right?

Wow, how long a drive was it? I've taken some long drives for chickens myself, once to NH and once to Lubec, ME, which is beautiful, but way downeast and just a stone's throw from Canada.

It was 3.5 hours each way. I left right after kids went to school and got home right before they got out.
Longest I've driven was for hatching eggs: 6 hours each way. Although, I had a pit stop to go skydiving with my sis in law half way...
