Looks like your birds carry wheaten? That is the color my wheaten Marans chicks are.
I had one pop up with my easter egger cross with the rooster as well. It is definitely white. I just assumed easter egger = random breeds= random colors. This last batch of easter eggers gave me some weird colors. Some cuckoo, 1 black with gold laced feathers on breast/neck, and 1 chocolate with gold on neck. I cannot figure that one out, they SHOULD be cuckoo as the male is double barred. But again, with easter egger hens the genes are a mystery.
I also crossed him with a buff orpington hen, which carry e^wh, and didnt have any wheaten chicks. So I don't think it is Wheaten, but I guess time will tell.
