My 9week old Ameraucanas have been caged since they were purchased @ 3weeks old... Today, dh and I got their run finished and they were outside for 5hrs... I know they must be sleeping so good--- They ran, scratched, pecked, took dusted bath, ate every blade of grass, speck of birdseed and emptied their feeder (a first).. I loved watching them... I waited until it was getting dark and they were still trying to find goodies.. I scooped each one up and placed her/him on their roost...and heard sweet little chirps coming from there as I walked away!!! good day for everyone...LOL
