Anyone got any ideas for leveling issue. We leveled out pillars for the coop and run but the front corner of the run is significantly lower than the main yard. Do I just dig out 2-3 ft from there and gradually lower it to the run or will that cause water issues?

I am not certain what you are asking?

I think you said above that you have the corners for both coop and run leveled?

It is always better to have a regular square/rectangle to build from; hardware cloth is best done on horizontal runs so on a slope put a run of HC around on your run corners and then fill in below by bending/cutting the HC as needed for predator protection. I hope this makes sense.

I'm not sure what you are asking either. Your run does not need to be level. I don't think you need to dig anything, you just want the coop to be level, so if the coop is on pillars at the corners each one might be buried a different depth into the ground so that the floor of the coop is level even though the ground is not.

If you are worried about drainage, you want to be sure the ground outside the coop (at least at the low end you mention, is even lower than the low point in your run so that the water continues to drain downhill.

The coop and run will have the same roof accross it. All pillars we laid yesterday are level. Problem I think we did not pick the highest spot to start from. Here is a better picture. So the run is either going to be on higher ground than the coop. Or the run walls are going to be lower than the surrounding ground unless I dig out the yard and slope it gradual to run

You want to minimize your labour so digging is out. Having the run either above or below the coop is acceptable as long as it minimizes your work.

If all corners are to the same level place the coop in place and then run your Hardware Cloth from one corner of the coop around your other run corners to the opposite coop corner. Fill in below with extra HC for apron + whatever you need to connect with upper HC.

If all your pillars are level then the roof will be level. It doesn't matter if the ground inside the run is level. It just means that some of the run will have more exposed fencing than other parts of the run. So maybe at one end the fencing from ground to roof is 8 feet and at the other end, the fence from ground to roof is only 7 feet because of your sloped ground. Don't adjust your frame and roof if all is level, just cut or bury your fencing as needed.
