Jacin, or anyone else who's interested in genetics, I have a problem for you! So you know that Big Red should be the father of the brahma× chick, well I'm starting to think he might not be the father at all! The chick has too many leg feathers, just like a brahma. Isn't leg feathering incomplete dominant? Wouldn't a cross between a clean legged bird and a feather legged one produce offspring with slightly less feathers on the legs? The comb is pea, by the way

She is! She is taking great care of them as well. I also hand fed her some food (yes, you heard that right, she ate from my hand, that's how much she's starving) and her babies also took some nibbles! Hopefully the extra bit of food gives her enough strength till she gets up
