LGBTQ+ Poultry Keepers

Yes, as I've said a billion times by now🤣, she's proving to be an excellent broody and mom. If only her chicks were as good...🙄
That light colored chick must take after his daddy....roaming, wandering, scaring everyone half to death. :lau

I might give her some if I can work out how to separate her! I do have fertility issues with the quail at the moment though

I do have a incubator
Chickens can crush Quail eggs quite easily, I'd definitely use the incubator if you want Quail chicks! It's not that common Quail go broody and when they do, they rarely stay on the eggs full term.

Right?! So much room and yet never enough! Let's hope its father is pleased with this behavior and protects the baby if it gets out
Has the daddy shown any interest in the babies yet? Does Cruella let any other flock mates near her babies?

Yes, and no. All the Tsouloufati have shown interest in the babies, but Cruella puffs up and squeals any time any of them get near
Good girl Cruella! I always worry about roosters near babies, some make great fathers, others can be aggressive toward chicks.

I really do think Kolovos is the former, but even so I dare not test it out. Let's hope his babies don't want to take a closer look of their father and won't try to get to the other side of the fence ever again
