LGBTQ+ Poultry Keepers

Don't worry, no casualties. It attacked the serama pen. Came around twice last night. Once we were alerted by Big Red. After checking out, everything was seemingly normal. Then it obviously came again later in the night or dawn and did what it did. Whose babies?
Nothing worse than predators in the night scaring the birds! I don't sleep until the thing moves on.

I got attached to your eggies, eggies turned into babies, :jumpy Cruellas babies, they are virtually mine now.

You'll have to sort that out with her

She does look mad, she's in eternal fluff mode, ready to tear the flesh off anyone that comes near her or her babies!

Anytime anyone other than me and a couple of other people come near, she's like this. For some reason helping her with the babies has seemed to have formed a closer bond with me

That's great she is starting to trust you!

Very nice growth, and pretty! I'm going to guess this is a female, they tend to have heavy primary feather growth by the end of the first week. Males take longer to grow them.

Yup! These guys are very fast featherers, I'm assuming because of the need to get off the ground as soon as possible. Compared to the brahma×aseel chick, these guys have much more feather growth. This chick is Heart Attack/Heartbreaker/Heartbreak-her!
