It never hurts to have it on hand but I highly doubt this is his issue now.Other than antibiotics, I don't think there is much you can do at this point other than keep him warm and comfortable, if he is awake and conscious I'd dip his beak in the water to prevent dehydration. But again, this could be something internal or even viral, something that can't be fixed.
It's nice to have a small medical kit put together for emergencies. I keep wormer, Amprolium, Amoxicillin for bacterial infections, Acidified Copper Sulfate for yeast infections, Vetercyn for wounds, and wraps for bumblefoot... a few other miscellaneous things.
I will try to dip its beak in water, although at this point it's just waiting for it to pass, which is sad. Should I still dot he cider thing? I'm terrible about having a first aid kit. It mostly has stuff for wounds and stuff. Gauzes, wraps, bandages, betadine, stuff like that. I do have erythromycin though
