Over here, we've had $1 and $2 coins forever. Also, no more pennies. Problem with the States is they gave people a CHOICE. We were told this is what we're doing, and too bad if you don't like it.

Pennies are nasty little coins, they cost more to produce than they are worth and you can't buy a darn thing with them!

Now for the coins....I haven't seen a $1 and $2 coin in decades! People are probably hoarding them here in the states thinking they have value.
