Hi! Boy were some of these replies disappointing.. I had to stop reading after awhile.
I'm not LGBTQIA+ but have always been an ally. I used to wear a trans ally pin on my leather jacket at a very rural, very conservative school. I think the only thing that saved me from comments on that were that nobody probably knew what it meant. I did get plenty of other comments though.
I'm sorry for what you guys experience and go through. It seems like we have made so much progress as a society in some ways, but then some areas/people are still stuck back in the 1800's lol. It really is unfortunate. Anyways, I got your back

I look pretty female so I don't typically get confused people even though I wear mens pants and a t-shirt or a big oversized hoodie most of the time. I did get a guy at Gander Mountain that we suspect was a pedo thinking I was a little boy once though. I had wandered into the boys clothing because they had a display of toys in there that I was looking at and he came over and was being creepy until my husband came over and then he vanished way too fast for him to have had good intentions. In hindsight it was fairly funny as no harm was done and the way he vanished instantly.. My husband still picks on me about being pedo bait...

Ok, so, sometimes in a store, I will go in with a female look, buy a “men’s outfit”, go home, change my clothes and “appearance” besides my face, go back to the store, and while I’m at the same cashier about to buy a “woman’s outfit” the cashier just stares at me Sometimes I will bring two outfits to a restaurant, order, change in the bathroom, and go back to my table, and the same thing happens with the waiters/waitresses lol. It’s really fun

Ok, completely off topic, but remember how I said I was in purchasing... well, my system is trying to order things on it's own today... things that were ordered and received 3/21/19....

It just randomly freaked out and decided to make me re-order this thing... luckily there is a human step between the system and it actually being ordered so the system can't ACTUALLY order things, but it is trying it's darndest to re-generate ancient PO's... The joys of technology that only half works at the best of times...
