My problem is a lot of them aren't which is why I give them side-eye. But it's my opinion the HFH does an OK job.
Salvation Army on the other hand literally has a doctrine that queer folks should die for sinning against god and that women should get paid less than men. They have a national reputation for letting LGBT+ people die asleep in the cold on their doorstep instead of helping them and grifting disaster zones for government money by billing governments for the donations booths they set up without being asked. Goodwill might suck but they don't suck like that.
