Poor baby, horses noses are very sensitive. Glad she's OK though!
Yeah, we got the first 5 out with little fth wuss. The 6th was in deeper though and we had to makeshift a twitch for her so she stayed still and stopped threatening to bite us

I don't complain about how hot it is though. We got some 46° days, many 40s, 45s, 38s. I'm OK with it. I do like hot weather a lot. The chickens don't hate it either.
I'd rather hot than cold any day of the year. I can keep my birds cool, it's keeping them warm that is difficult

Same. Although I don't do much for the hot as well. I just give them access to water and shade. I hosed the brahma down on the 46° day, but that's about it

I personally would rather be cold than hot, I'd do well living on an iceburg. But for the chickens, I prefer summer over winter, much easier to keep them cool than warm.

-5 (23 for yall, you should convert) I think? It's probably been worse at some point, but I can't remember it. The -5 was years ago
Thats pretty cold for your location. I guess we all adapt to our environment, freezing or roasting is relevant to our exposure to it.

Yup. I'm mostly worried about the serama. I'll have to find them a flat perch. Right now they're on a bamboo one
