Stay warm up there Wind!
It's actually not really cold. Hovering around freezing. I only had a fleece jacket on while shovelling. BUT, it took me almost two hours to dig to the animals, and then clear out their enclosures. Snow is up to my knees.

I haven't even done anything with the driveway. There's a plow-made snowbank of about 4' high, probably at least 2' wide.

Yes, that's my mailbox on the right.

My daughter's dog seemed to think it was great. Now to teach her (and mine) to dig out that snowbank!

Dogs do love snow! 🤣 Be safe out there and don't slip on any ice! ❄

There's a small chance of us losing power and I'm worried about my incubator.
Monday is the hatch date.
We've never been in this situation before with winter.
If the power goes out, wrap the incubator in blankets. The eggs should be in lockdown, so no need for turning. I had that happen to me last year, no power for several days, and the eggs would have been fine except my piece of crap incubator's thermostat malfunctioned a week later and cooked all my babies!

I've incubated before. Just never in winter.
