Hubby is gone for a couple days, so I'm catching up (a bit) on editing his book. I did one chapter with a very thorough edit, as his word count is WAY TOO HIGH, but he said to just edit for punctuation and grammer going forward.

Which is hard, because there is a lot of extra verbiage that could should be cut out. One thing that bugs the CRAP out of me is passive voice, and he has a lot of it. Sometimes I can't help myself, and chop it. I'm doing all the changes in red, so he can see them and accept them or delete them as he likes.

I can only do this when it is quiet. No TV, no music.

I am enjoying the story, even though fantasy with werewolves is not something I'd choose to read.

You guys, I just realised I made an oopsie. So in the POW thread, someone offered a name for one of the serama pullets. Because it didn't relate to the theme, I decided to use the name on one of the Tsouloufati pullets. Here is where my idiocy hits the roof. I used that name for the pullet that was the most suitable. Well that pullet already has a name, and I COMPLETELY forgot about it. It's Heartbreak-her. For hours on end I completely forgot she had a name already. At some point I probably forgot the entire incident. Only now did I realise, when someone reacted to the post I had with a picture of her. I read it and said to myself "hold on, why does Heartbreak-her have a different name?". Oh my gosh I'm so dense sometimes. And it's not something serious, sure. My stupidity in all of this is what surprises me

It's healthy to laugh at ourselves once in a while, keeps us on a good path.
