LGBTQ+ Poultry Keepers

Next few days are going to be rough here. My furnace stopped working, and no idea why. And of course, the coldest days of the season are upon us. Temps in the minuses for you Fahrenheit folks, and for the rest of the world around -21 Friday. High on Friday of only -16. Birds will be fed and allowed out only to stretch their legs.

As for me, I've got a new oil radiator helping out, as well as an upright heater, but even with those two it's currently about 52f / 12c inside my trailer. I'm wearing longjohns and sweatpants, a t-shirt and hoodie with the hood up, a blanket AND my winter coat over my legs, and a fleece jacket over my back. I may resort to gloves if it gets any colder in here.

Stay warm, stay safe!

Those oil radiators and heaters work well, they put out a lot of heat. Hopefully you can get your furnace back up and running soon! Stay as warm as possible Wind! :hugs

Oh, I forgot, also had my body-length house coat/bathrobe on.

Thanks, TC! So far, it's just maintaining what it was at. But it supposedly takes much less power, so...

As for the furnace, I'll take a look at things next week, once temps go back to 'normal and above'.

I've been slacking on my reading lately.
Hubby is gone for a couple days, so I'm catching up (a bit) on editing his book. I did one chapter with a very thorough edit, as his word count is WAY TOO HIGH, but he said to just edit for punctuation and grammer going forward.

Which is hard, because there is a lot of extra verbiage that could should be cut out. One thing that bugs the CRAP out of me is passive voice, and he has a lot of it. Sometimes I can't help myself, and chop it. I'm doing all the changes in red, so he can see them and accept them or delete them as he likes.

I can only do this when it is quiet. No TV, no music.

I am enjoying the story, even though fantasy with werewolves is not something I'd choose to read.
