I saw another hilarious one while searching for mugs. It read something along the lines of "one day a woman said, f it, I'm getting chickens. That woman lived happily ever after". While not a woman, I almost bought said mug

I'm looking forward to silkie/cochin crosses. I find them adorable!

He's Partridge in colour, so unusual for a silkie. And he's local, so acclimated to our weather. He made it through winter, he should be good. Hatched last year too, so in the prime of his roosteriness!

Best of all, he's FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Partridge is such a pretty color for silkies. My boy is pretty ugly but his color gets some points back for him
