Ooh!
Any care tips? I looked it up and I believe I know the species but any advice is welcome, still super new to succulents :)
It was hard to choose, there was a whole tray in this sweet little shop, so many varieties! But this was the first that stood out to me, so had to take her home.

To be honest with you, I don't know the species. Didn't look into it much. But I can tell you how I care for it. It's under full sun (had to acclimate it to it), doesn't get many waterings (less than my echeveria), and is on loose succulent soil. Not exactly lithops level soil, but I'm convinced they prefer a lot of inorganic matter. That said, my propagations aren't even in succulent soil and they're totally fine. I find them quite hardy, and lovely to care for

Lithops have arrived!! A double white in the middle and 5 around. They are in a homemade mix, guessing about 2 parts perlite, 2 parts gravel and 1 part succulent soil, gravel on top for looks. Aren't they adorable! 😊♥️ Now....how do I not kill them? :D

Looking great! You got some amazing lithops! The grey, and the two brown-ish ones at the top I have but that green amd especially that orangey-pink I'm SO jealous of! Their pot looks amazing too! Good luck! Unless one of those has a different seasonal clock, it's growing season, so you can water them when they get wrinkly!

There's a tiny baby at the 11:3O position, 🥰 itsy bitsy! The white in the middle had recently split, the old leaves still attached, I just left it all in. Yes the orangey pink and green plants are pretty! ♥️ I chose a terracotta pot so they can breathe and will dry out faster. Its a 5" pot.

So...they say not to water for 2 days yet, giving them time to recover. After their first watering, how do I know when to water next? Do I let them shrivel or start to wrinkle or what? And do I put them in direct sun now or do I need to acclimate?

I am SO egg-cited!! :wee

Great choices! After purchasing mine I don't water until I see signs of wrinkling. How did yours come? If they did not come rooter, then you might need to water a little more frequently. But more frequently for them is like every two weeks! Yes, I'd wait for them to wrinkle a bit before watering. I've left mine wrinkling for a few weeks, even. Never had to acclimated then to full sun, but they might need some sort of acclamation. Especially since yours got shipped. That's just a theory though. If they were mine, they would've been thrown out in the full sun already. But I've been known to be a bit more aggressive with my care

@fluffycrow You know the succulent I got today? How do I propagate?

Pluck off a few leaves, lay them flat on a bit of soil (or just lay them on any surface), and wait until roots come out. Then give them a slight watering. When the new succulent is big enough, separate it from the old leaf, and plant it. Water more frequently, but make sure the soil dries out a bit. Or you could just pluck a few leaves and from then in a spare pot and forget about them. Chances are they'll grow wonderfully. Half my propagation I didn't know about until I found a whole new succulent growing in the pot
