I gave the Lithops a bit of direct sun today but then back under shade cloth. A can tell a couple of them had recently shed and the lower part of the leaves looked new. So Im going to go slow with the sun.
I am determined to keep these guys alive! I took a photo of them from the side to monitor their wrinkles. I will water tomorrow for the first time and then I can monitor the dryness from the photo, I can also see how much they expand.Oh, my bad!
You're a very good owner. Just remember to not be so kind to the opuntia. Its thank yous are painful...

I will!Just remember. When in doubt, don't do anything. These guys can go for a WHILE with no water. They prefer it that way!
Home!
Back home from my adventures.
With half of Yorkshire, in the form of plants. (I may have gotten 3, and then two more)
The girls were happy to see me!!! And you'd best believe I picked up Dougie and Sprightly, one under each arm, kissing the hell out of them in a long cuddle. They managed to not suffocate, and actually allowed the attention happily.
Before putting them to bed, Sprightly came to me for loves, and gave me gentle nibbles and sleepy eyes while I stroked her.
I missed them so much. I didn't realise how much until I saw them again. They were very happy to see me, with excited chatter and running to me. I feel quite loved![]()
