LGBTQ+ Poultry Keepers

Been a bit since I've been on BYC but wanted to check back into this thread and say hi again.

Thought it might be fun to ask what all everyone keeps animal wise! I'm sure some of you will have already shared what you keep, but with 1697 pages now I can't go back through it all LOL and would love to get to know some folks here. And I love animals so what better question. :)

Anyone else here keep any reptiles? Apart from birds of course ;)
1 dog, 2 guinea pigs, 2 coturnix quail!
one of my piggies went to the vet on saturday and got a hormone treatment similar to a birth control implant! she can't get spayed, so we're hoping this will get her hormones under control. it's a relatively new treatment, so i'm doing my best to document it for other guinea pig owners, and some vet techs i know!

Cacti were delivered today! They are a bit rough, not from shipping as they were expertly packed and nothing was damaged or fell off, but the nursery care itself isn't the best but I think they will grow well.

From the left clockwise, Lady Fingers, Opuntia, Pine Cone, Eves Pin and Rat Tail. I LOVE the Pine Cone cactus, very fun looking plant! I used plastic bags to handle and remove them from their pots, they were very dry and in 2" pots so they just slipped out. I did not get prickled! :D They are now in 4" pots.

They look good! They look to be of a good size as well!

Thanks! I can't wait to see how they grow!

The euphorbia (granted, a very different euphorbia) is a VERY slow grower. The mammillaria is also a slow grower, but not as much. I LOVE mammillaria. They're very easy to flower, and so adorable! The opuntia will grow like a weed, probably:rolleyes:. Can't wait to see your rat tail start to drape down!
