I rode a horse!!
I want to say I did great, but let's be real..
3 and a half years
I was weak

but I still managed. We focused on walk, trot, stop transitions, managing different levels of speed, practiced balance, rising and sitting trot.

It was very fun. I got to ride one of the most advanced yet cheeky horses. She was super sensitive to touch so asking for trot was so incredibly easy and quick. She was also a dragon (chestnut mare).
She taught me a lot honestly. I hope I'll get to ride her again next time. She also knows verbal commands, so I could just tell her to walk and she'd go back down to a walk. Not something I want to rely on, but it certainly made me feel safe on her.

After the lesson I got to walk her back to the yard, put her in her stable and remove her bridle. She accepted some love and enjoyed a stroke on her neck.

10/10 for the facility and the staff, they were super friendly, it's super fancy and tidy, most of the horses were turned out and grazing, only a few inside waiting for lessons- and the coach was outstanding. Really honest and constructive advice, didn't let any bad habits slide! Exactly what I need.
I know I sound like I'm writing a review, but it was so good. 🤣

Sounds like you had an amazing time! I know close to nothing about horses, but I've always heard that about chestnut mares. Are they really that spicy?
