How many of yours are flowering/budding right now?
Not as many as I'd hoped! My monster Haworthia has 2 shoots right now, (when doesn't it, 😂) my feather cactus was loaded with flowers all winter, took a short break and is starting up again. Let's see... oh and my Thimble Cactus (Mammillaria vetula) has been on and off blooming all winter and still is. And this Euphorbia, that's it! My 30+ other slackers are doing nothing! 😂 (At least I got them through the winter without killing them. 🤣)

How about yours, what's blooming or getting ready to? Pics please. 😊

Maybe not as many, but still quite a few! Can’t wait for the pictures!

Got a few that are getting ready to. The big haworthia (of course), another one that has never bloomed for me before, so super excited about that, and the euphorbia that stays in bloom year round. Then the gymnocalycium and the astrophytum are in the very early stages of blooming, as is my other haworthia that I got late last summer. No photos yet, nothing interesting to see

I may not have withheld enough water over the winter to get many bloomers. I still have a hard time NOT watering for months on end. 😁 I watered all the small cacti every 4 to 5 weeks and the large and columnar cacti every 7 to 8 weeks. They definitely saw cold temps and had only 8 or so hours of light per day. The plants are starting to wake up now, so maybe more will bud out soon. How much if any did you water over winter?

Oh I love the Gymnocalyciums and Astrophytums, beautiful cacti! Those Astros come in SO many types!! I am keeping my eyes open this year for some of those. I'm sure yours are gorgeous! ❤️I don't have ANY more room for more cacti, however I will MAKE room if I see a plant I need!! 😂

Oh I love that one! Just looked up its flowers…so pretty!
I have 2 Peanut Cactuses, one has tiny red buds which I THINK are starting to expand. One of them BETTER bloom or else!! 😁 Here they are side by side, fast growers, they were 1/4 inch tall last summer! (Look closely on the left Peanut second branch from the right, there's a tiny red bud there!)

Your watering schedule seems to have worded really well, all the succulents in the photos looked amazing!

I did no watering whatsoever. Some didn’t appreciate it much  ! Less losses than last year, so I’m happy. Lost no lithops during the winter

The astrophytum really are worth it! I like them a bit more than the gymnocalycium (care-wise) I’ve found, great cacti for sure. If you ever have (or make) room, get one!
