woke up at 5 went to the kitchen to make coffee and saw #8 breaking out of shell. two more eggs left, I don't see any pips but of course they are being rolled around by the new crew. today is day 22 I will get the brooder warming up and move everyone over and candle the last two if no pips in the next few hours

Congrats on your new crew!!! Had an early wake-up of turkeys unzipping here--hope your early morning cuppa was as black as mine.

On a more positive note, the crassula is starting to bloom! The buds have been growing for some time, but they’re finally starting to openView attachment 4129727
Oh my, that death bloom is incredible! ❤️ But I am sorry the plant didn't make it. :(

The Crassula blooms are gorgeous, so delicate! :love Pretty plant too! 💕
