I live in Greece, so things are wayyyy different over here.

I'm sorry that people are so close minded. I hope things improve.

When I was about 10, a friend asked me if I knew what "gay" and "lesbian" meant. (Bisexual wasn't on the radar, really.) I didn't, and she whispered in my ear. I thought, Oh, ok. Filed that bit of knowledge away for future reference.

A different friend was mad at Elton John, when he came out. "I wish he weren't like that!" I asked her if knowing he was gay made his music any different (she was a big fan). "Well... no... I guess not."

Since she was 2 years older, I didn't follow up with what I'd say now: "Then what difference does it make? NONE!"

It honestly frustrates me so much.
I feel like people get mad at celebrities for coming out, because they like to straight ship them, or because they crush on them.

An actor in the show stranger things recently came out as gay, and a few people are still shipping him with his friend and fellow actress. Someone literally said "well this makes me so sad, I still wish they'd date!"

Like come on people, respect boundaries and respect people's sexualities.

I wish someone had taught me about the lgbt community as a kid-- my parents re-wrote the definition of gay, trans etc, to fit their beliefs, so I only learned a few years back, and am still learning.

Yup, you got me. I love shows like that, or with a dark, mystical, witchy, monster-y tone/theme! I also like the fact that Byler is becoming canon

Right now I'm watching Locke and key, just finished C.A.O.S, and before that the second season of vikings valhalla, Wednesday, The Witcher, The Sandman and the dragon prince. I haven't watched avatar in ages, but I love it. Still waiting on the nest season of ST

Currently finishing That 70s Show again. Gonna try The Ark next.

As for celebrities, I usually get bummed no matter what, cause if they're dating anyone, odds are they aren't gonna date me as well, lol.

I actually totally thought Elton John was straight up until like 3 years ago, max. I just never really thought about it to be honest
