Sounds like a stressful day!
I'm really sorry that all that happened :hugs
Can't believe your duck flew into your face lol worst I've had is my Dougie land on my head. (She landed on my head, made me jump, then she fell off, into my duck carrier, it was kinda funny ngl)
Oh that is absolutely funny!
And thanks hon, it was super stressful at the time but I'm honestly better for it. It turns out my mom wasn't sleeping at the time which is why she was so damn irritable and constantly jumping down everyone's throats. Thankfully that's been fixed! And it's been... lesse... this march will be 5 years since that happened!

I've had chickens jump on my shoulder, I've been hit in the face by chickens and ducks. The worst scars on my arms are from my gander when I picked him up and he did the toddler feet on my arm. Everyone thought I got mauled by something, nope. I've fallen in mud more times than I can count. And when we had to separate out the geese this weekend, they were like jet skis through the mud puddles in their run (we're working on fixing that as soon as we can). Mom and I looked like Jackson Pollock paintings when we got out of their lol. It was hilarious.

I'm glad things are better now!! Poor sleep can be so hard on a person's mental health.
Ouch! The scratchy nails are bad enough on my girls, can't imagine handling a gander and get clawed!

It honestly wasn't that bad. I didn't realize I was scratched up as bad as I was till I was done out at the coop with them. Then I was bleeding like a stuck pig (as usual my body decides to be melodramatic) bandaged myself up and I was fine in a couple of days. It's always the things that are insignificant that scar (besides my chest obviously)

True
I have a nice collection of scars! The most faded, shockingly, was the worst. Horse bit me, grabbed my whole arm and lifted me up, arm slipped out of his teeth. Nasty, hurt so bad, but it only bled a little, for an hour and a bit. Bruised but that healed fast too. And it's so faded now.
I was too upset to tell anyone so I finished tacking him up, rode one handed cause I couldn't lift the other, gritted my teeth through the rest of the day 😂
I don't miss that horse.

Mine are all either rabbit scratches that look like the bad kinda scars, the bad kinda scars, or from when I fall down my hill. And random ones that I'm not sure white they came from.

Never any of the cool ones though, like when I walked into barbed wire by accident or when I faced off against my turkey males

The only thing I can recall to this day that was a funny, but stressful incident at the time. I was in a pen with my ISA brown pullets, all of them were somewhere doing ISA brown things, except for the least friendly of the bunch. She was actually near me, and as I hunched down, she came even closer and lifted her head slightly towards me. At that moment I thought, aw she's getting friendlier! Nope! Next thing I know she pecked my eyeball and we were searching for an ophthalmologist during the middle of the night. At least I got some gyro afterwards, because there was a gyro place close to his office. Up till now the only memorable scar I have is from when I visited the US and managed to fall in Central Park, but that's a story for another time
