You wanna know something fascinating

Cockroaches are incredibly social animals!
I've observed my pet cockroaches for about 2 years. When one is dying, the others rally close, when she dies, the others seem to grieve, standing on or over their departed sibling for up to a couple days.
I have two left, very old ladies. They're both "dying", I think. And they're cuddled up on their favourite rock.

Personally horrifying, but you do you. Not the first person that I've seen keep them as pets (and not in rhe sarcastic way)

Added a blue Swedish trio to my order, so it will be 12 girls and 1 boy, provided they all arrive alive and okay. Probably should have gotten 2 boys in case, but too late now. I'm not calling twice in an hour.

8 mystery females, 2 Pekin females, 2 blue swedish females and 1 blue Swedish male total for this order. And then 16 more in the beginning of June

That's a whole lot of ducks!

Building an army?

No, the 16 later are all st run, so I'll likely be processing a bunch of males later on. These females were mainly a) incase I'm that lucky SOB that gets 15 males in the later batch and b) so they're a bit older when the males in the later batch start getting the need to breed

They're neat, I just don't really do most bugs anymore ever since I was having bug issues with my dragon's crickets.
