....or.......Can’t figure out which of my girls is laying. Eggs are supposed to be the same color, both act like they’re laying. Guess I’ll have to separate them
How are you today?Howdy!![]()
I’m doing fine today ^-^ and you?How are you today?![]()
I'm doing great, thank you!I’m doing fine today ^-^ and you?
Also is that you in your profile pic? I love your tattoos!!
That is so helpful! Thank you!
They’re very lovely designs and have great meanings! Haha same here, I’d love to get more tattoos but I don’t have the income for it right now.I'm doing great, thank you!And yes, that's me. The main tattoo is a guardian fox, and the other is an arrow with my spouse's and kid's astrological signs. And the moon phases. My only greater obsession than chickens is getting more tattoos. I have too many expensive hobbies. Lol!
Ooooh! I say Wisteria is a lovely name, very elegant, color inspired, and if you look at wisteria from a distance it looks "speckled."Hi everyone!
I’m so glad I found this thread- two communities I belong to fused together is double the awesomeness, especially when they appear not to go together, but they very much can. I’ve been raising chickens with my family for almost eight years, and I identify as pansexual and use she/her pronouns.
Anyways, my family and I got four speckled sussexes today, all a year old, from a neighbor who had too many chickens. To anyone one who knows what a speckled sussex looks like: do you have any name suggestions? They’re all hens, and I prefer pretty or elegant-sounding nature and color-inspired names.
I’m happy to see the amount of support as well as bravery to open up, so thank you @allosaurusrock and other initial posters for creating a space for us despite the pushback!
