Time to make more pens! Or be silly like me and bring them inside!

No chickens inside! Even if I wanted to, Buddy makes it....hard. eh, no more pens I've got 4 already, I'll risk it and wait for Ursula or Cruella. I shouldn't even be doing it, I've got enough breeds I need to work with😅

How about ducks! :lau
I've got lots of experience and I can offer great advice. Such as, don't do it!

OK then, it's settled, I ain't doing it :p(just like the coffee juice concoction, sorry Lou) I'll have to relly on the hypothetical broodies. I hope the broodies can raise their chicks fine in the flock without needing separation

I generally let most of mine raise them without separating, though I like to try and keep them limited in their movement for a few days just to give them a chance to bond with their chicks.

That being said, my ancient cochin went broody again, so I need to decide if I want her to brood in the coop and let nature take its inevitable course or seperate her from the coop for a couple weeks and let her hatch the chicks somewhere that she won't inevitably leave them to die by accident
