Yup! Another fun thing is that each country competes in the 1st or 2nd semi-final depending on which of the two they have competed in the most, it's not random. So for example Greece has historically almost always competed in the 2nd semi-final

Poland is a sensitive topic this year according to most polish people, she was not they one they have voted for, but she won anyway. So most don't like her for that reason, but because the song is hilarious (especially the bejba at the start) she made it to the final. So yes, Eurovision has its fair share of drama
