Figured 'Gram' was more gender neutral. Grandson was born at 4:42 am. Mom and babe are doing well.

I did my good deed for the day, caught a magpie harassing a black birds nest and mum and dad were having a hard time fighting it- apparently one "boo" from a nosy human popping up over the fence resolved the matter, the magpie retreated without a backwards glance.
It'll be back though, those blackbirds did not think their nesting spot through very thoroughly.

In a tree, which is better than the dumb little birds who nested on our garden table.
But it's not sheltered or hidden at all really, it's very obvious to every passing bird.
