I used to do this. Again, to freak people out. The stick bit at the top was rather chewy though.

To be fair, you would have to eat about 226 seeds to be poisoned by the cyanide in them. Give or take on the type of apple, since some varieties have more cyanide per seed than others

Exactly. And they're actually tasty. They have this really nice sharp taste to them.
