Oh, that’s adorable! I knew I couldn’t be the
Sounds like he was a lovely fellow! Rest in peace Bob.
I had a pet house spider called Barry, he lived near my bed, for a few months!
We had great chats in the night time. And one day I fully embraced him as my roommate. "Just make sure you stay right there in your corner", I said one night. I left the room and when I came back to go to sleep, my beloved Barry had gone. I fear I may have frightened him off with the longterm roommate chat. I never saw him again.
Though his children have visited.

only one with a ‘pet’ spider. Mine lives in the corner of my room. His name is Bob, and I recently left on a longish trip. I had to leave him a bottle cap of water, but when I came back, Bob’s corner was occupied by a smug-looking Longlegs. I fear Bob has been eaten, but your fly-eating spider is so cute!! 🕷️

Such heartwarming stories❤️
sincerely, from a spider lover that is deathly afraid of them

OK. Since the other plan failed, and to distract myself from that, I think I'm going to speed up the process of bringing a new breed in the farm. I'm going to contact the hatchery within the week to see if they have the breeds available, since they usually do a pause in shipping during July, due to the heat. Now that means I have to decide on either breed. Maybe. Possibly. Probably. You know how I am when I say I want to get a new breed

Cruella will most probably go broody again. She just needs to learn.

I know. But I was going to bring a new breed in anyway, and focus on it for the foreseeable future (I'll still be working with the landraces, but not consistently for now) and this just seems like a good opportunity, because I really want to shake off the feeling of boredom/nothing to look forward to/nothing I can do about it
